Counselling
Support. Discover. Flourish.
Through counselling and psychotherapy, we offer a compassionate, evidence-based support structure for women navigating pregnancy, postpartum, or early parenthood and children, teens, young adults and parents.
Using developmentally sensitive approaches—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based strategies, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and trauma-informed care—we help individuals understand emotions, strengthen coping skills, and feel supported through life’s challenges.
We provide evidence-based counselling for children and adolescents who are navigating emotional, social, behavioural, and developmental challenges by helping them understand themselves, build resilience, and feel more confident in their world. Early identification allows for timely, targeted intervention, which research consistently shows leads to more effective outcomes. Developmentally informed treatment strengthens emotional regulation, supports adaptive coping, and promotes healthier long-term trajectories.
We help children and teens work through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, autism, difficulties with emotional regulation, and behavioural issues. We also support kids who may not have a formal diagnosis but are facing everyday struggles—like making friends, low self-confidence, academic pressure, family transitions, grief, or adjusting to big life changes. We recognize that each child is unique, with their own strengths, needs, and stage of development. That’s why we take an individualized therapeutic approach —to ensure care that is effective and developmentally attuned.
Depending on a child’s age and needs, we may use play-based therapy, art and expressive therapies, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, trauma-informed approaches, emotion-focused therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, and executive-functioning skill building to help young people understand and manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Therapy for teens may also include mindfulness, self-compassion practices, and targeted support for social skill development. Parent collaboration is woven throughout using attachment-based and family-centred approaches to create consistency at home and school. Each therapeutic approach is carefully tailored to the child’s developmental stage, strengths, and goals, ensuring support that is warm, effective, and grounded in current best practice.
Adult Therapy
Where evidence-based therapy meets compassionate care.
We provide trauma-informed, evidence-based counselling for adults experiencing a range of DSM-related mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders (GAD, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety, Specific Phobias), depressive disorders, trauma and stressor related disorders such as PTSD, obsessive-compulsive symptoms and adjustment disorders.
We integrate research-supported therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety-driven avoidance, Exposure Therapy for phobias and panic, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) as a trauma-informed, solution-focused approach to processing distressing memories, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, mindfulness and self-compassion practices, Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Each modality is chosen based on your unique goals, symptoms, and readiness.
Parenting & Perinatal Counselling
Support for pregnancy, postpartum wellbeing, and parenting at every age
The transition into parenthood, as well as the evolving demands of raising older children and teens, can bring joy, uncertainty, stress, and emotional shifts. We offer a calm, grounding space where parents can explore these experiences with compassion and clarity.
We support parents with perinatal anxiety, postpartum depression, birth trauma, intrusive thoughts, fertility loss, relationship stress, behavioural challenges, school-related struggles, emotional regulation difficulties, and the everyday challenges of caring for infants, children, and teens. We offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a trauma-informed, solution-focused approach that uses imagery and eye movements to help the brain reprocess distressing birth memories safely and efficiently.
Our parenting work integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, mindfulness and self-compassion, and attachment-based parent–child support. We also use evidence-informed parenting approaches such as Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS), Circle of Security (COS) principles, Positive Parenting strategies, mindful parenting, co-regulation techniques, emotion coaching, behavioural shaping, and age-specific routines to help families strengthen communication, reduce conflict, and build closer, more secure relationships. Parenting support is tailored to the child’s developmental stage—whether soothing an infant, guiding a strong-willed toddler, supporting an anxious school-age child, or navigating the growing independence of a teen.
